Yesterday started a new time in my life. The life of being a grandparent. You know you can't take back any thing you didn't do right the 1st time as a parent but you learned from it. This is the time in life God gives us to share in the life of the your child's child. You never want to be a busy body or drive your child crazy but you want them to understand that you have been down that road before and maybe you did it right or maybe sometimes you royally messed it up but either way, you have done it before and you share that with them. You hope they will take some of your advice and on the other hand you also have to sit back and let them pave their own way in this new experience of parenthood. I hope they both know you can never show your love enough to your kids. Give all the kisses and hugs and I love yous that you can give. Be there at games and practices, teach them things and learn things from them - most of all love them!!! God has blessed you with a precious, beautiful and healthy baby girl.
